These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AshtaBodha ("the App"), developed and operated by Nivarus ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
AshtaBodha provides Vedic astrology calculations, charts, and interpretations based on the classical Ashtakavarga system, using the birth details you provide. The App is offered for entertainment, self-reflection, and informational purposes only.
AshtaBodha does not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Nothing in the App should be treated as a substitute for professional advice from a qualified doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, or mental health professional. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on information in the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use AshtaBodha. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at nivarusdesk@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You agree to provide accurate birth details and account information. Inaccurate birth data will produce inaccurate chart calculations — this is expected behavior, not a defect.
AshtaBodha offers a free tier and optional premium subscriptions (monthly, yearly) and a one-time lifetime unlock, sold and processed through Google Play Billing. By subscribing, you agree to Google Play's own payment terms in addition to these Terms.
You agree not to: reverse engineer or tamper with the App; use the App to violate any law; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data; or use automated means to scrape, extract, or resell data or content from the App.
The App, including its design, calculations engine, text, and branding, is owned by Nivarus and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your birth data and personal chart results belong to you; we do not claim ownership over them.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Astrological calculations, while based on established classical methods, are inherently interpretive. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or predictive reliability of any chart, forecast, or remedy shown in the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nivarus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including decisions made based on its content.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile > Delete Account), which permanently removes your account and associated data. See our Account Deletion page for details. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where local consumer protection law provides otherwise.
